Well the PCB has been made (back to front -- hence IC's on the copper side) and slowly it is coming to life... This dsPIC will give me 20 MIPS and I suspect that I will need more! Certain aspects of the behavior that I had considered will perhaps be saved for later revisions...

I was wondering if you have anymore photos of your Verbos 258 VCO populated PCB? I'm trying to figure out the orientation of the 4339s, and some of the other components. The photo you posted of the SSM2220 was a great help, but I'm having a problem (no output) with my 258, and I'd like to double check that all of my part orientations are correct.
